In CBT this is falls into a few Thinking Styles, namely: Catastrophic Thinking, Fortune Telling, and Discounting the Positive. You should be able to find information and even some worksheets online.

I can relate. One reason is I don't feel I deserve good things happening to me. Is this at all familiar? So I am trying to work on my self-worth. And, I have noticed at the times my sense of worth is stronger, my 'anticipatory' anxiety is significantly reduced.
