I think there are instances where, despite the subject matter of threads, their content may have more relevance in a more generalised forum. Oh yes to be sure there are many threads that are in fact better placed in a specific subject but there are times too when a thread is better elsewhere in a location where they deserve more traffic and consideration.

I throw out my own thread about Asking for Help as a prime example. I placed in within a more general forum as I felt it a subject more pertinent to that of Other Mental Health discussion. Frankly I am a little dismayed that it was moved and moved to an area where it likely wouldn't be seen. The intent is to be thought provoking which in turn then could lead people to the more specific forum subject.

Just my thoughts.
I agree with everyone else moving threads kind of falls under administrative issues so you may need to discuss this with them. usually there is a reason behind why they moved or removed threads. they will be able to explain what happened with your thread and why
