I don't know what's available to you in terms of assistance with something like this. And the sad fact may be there's not going to be anything you can do about it. I don't know. Here where I live, I think I would contact the state attorney general's office. If this is an option for you, you'd want to make sure they are aware you have a disability & are receiving disability benefits. Your state's attorney general's office may or may not help you. But it may be a place to start. (If they say they can't help you, ask them who can.)

Another thought would be to find out what branch of state government regulates these kinds of operations in your state & contact them. Beyond that, if there are any disability rights organizations where you live, you might try contacting them as well. I do believe, again where I live, there is a law that gives a consumer a period of time, after they sign a contract, to cancel the deal. But I don't know how long the "grace period" is or if something such as that would apply in a case like this. This would be something you could presumably check out with your state's attorney general's office I would imagine.

What you need to do is probably to find some agency or organization that has the clout to make these pirates see the error of their way in your particular situation. In the end, all of this may or may not help. But it's what I can think of. Hopefully some other members will have some helpful suggestions. Good luck with it. If you are feeling as though you want to "check out' over this please reach out, in real life, for mental health assistance. I wish you well...
