I think this is normal for anxiety. Sometimes it takes a bit for our minds to slow down which is hard for those of us whose minds speed up when we try to sleep. Also, sometimes we hear voices when it's really just white sounds we turn into something more.
Let me make a suggestion (which I a sure you have heard before). Take time during the day to concentrate on your problems. Write them in a journal. Do what you need to do to find a way to relax your mind to prep you for a good nights rest. I have found that listening to music on my headphones helps me escape. I allow myself to get really lost in the relaxing music until I eventually start drifting off to sleep. By that time I am so tired that when I turn the music off I can go right to sleep without a huge thoughtfest first.
