Sounds like disassociation to me. I went through this once myself. Fortunately I was outside of the car. I did not recognize the car. I did not know where I was or what I was doing there. Totally blank. I had my keys in my hand. I looked at them and did not understand what I was suppose to do next. Fortunately this only lasted a short period of time. This only has happened to me once. I was under allot of stress at the time. So this may not happen again with you.
