I don't actually feel like it's necessarily "wrong" for a man or woman to have a best friend outside of their marriage or romantic relationship. And if there aren't suggestive photos, I don't think it's necessary to require that photos be deleted. But it does sound like your marriage needs work because you don't have the kind of intimate emotional relationship that you desire to have, and that is understandable.
