A college's classmate just invited me to her wedding. I'm not close to her, but she's one the nice person in my college so I'm happy for her. But, I don't really want to go there. Simply because: 1) I dont get along with other classmates. I'll be alone for the rest of the party since I don't know other partygoers except my classmates. 2) I hate topic about what I'm doing now. Short story, I picked different career from my major (no further details since it's not this thread's focus, but it something I never regret of). I already got disapproval looks from my peers before. I can guess they would berate me or nag about how wrong my decision was or how stupid I am.

I know it's very silly. Sadly, I don't have any idea what to do. If I go there, I'll get so many questions and judgements for my career decision. But if I don't, there would be a little disappointment even though we're not close.

Another consideration: I have trouble with transportation. I can't take bus. Meanwhile, uber are too costly.
