I can second your sentiment. I worked in a liquor store for ten years during and after college and a full moon was always a bad sign. All the standard characters would come out of the woodwork. I recall the following -
-Someone pressed the silent alarm in the bathroom thinking it was an "air freshener".....about 40 cops showed up, one guy came in with a shotgun.
-Someone reached over the counter and tried to take money from the till. My boss Paul bundled him and there was a donnybrook in the aisle.
-Someone dumped their cans over the return counter and said "I ain't countin nuthin"! We called him "Drippy Nose" because he was always wiping his nose.
-Someone refused to leave the beer cooler because he "was hot".
-And the best of all - I was off this night, but one of my co-workers used to pack a gun at work (illegally in my state) and on this night, we got robbed. He came out of the back storeroom yelling "I'm sick of this s*** and started squeezing off shots. The robbers jumped right through the front window of the store, didn't even bother using the door. Classic stuff. Full moon fever.
