I think we have over evolved too. I have never quite put it into those words until reading your post. Thank you.

I think the reason is something to do with our brains growing larger and learning new skills especially communication. Our brain is responsible for a lot.

If a body part fails or becomes broken there is sympathy from others unless it is your brain. Somehow if our brain breaks we are responsible for our fate. We are expected to think ourselves better. I spend all day thinking myself better and sleep restores the trauma. So the day and going forward become groundhog day.

You are normal it's the way your classmates would be with your trauma.
