You are not nuts, I think it is normal for those who have been through what you have. Scientists don't know exactly why we need to dream, but some feel it is to help emotionally process things.
If this continues, you might be experiencing the beginning of PTSD.
Is there anyway you can talk to your counselor about this, I am sure she could help you. I know you don't want to talk about it anymore, I can't blame you for that because it is so painful and hard, but it is a way to help you recover. Are you willing to see your counselor?
