I took my musical theater kid to a local show last night. One of his directors/teachers was in the show, and he’d acted in a junior version. Every time we go to see live theater, I think we should go more often.
Then I dreamt this long involved dream that revolved around me acting in a musical theater production. (As if. No.) It was a fun dream until the end. But it ended up with me backstage talking to the kids’ dad in a don’t panic-hyper focused-how do I navigate this without triggering an explosion situation.
It was so real that I am feeling the aftermath just like I used to in real life. Now I have to drag through my day carrying this around until the stupid dream fades.
