I take a bunch of meds: topamax, lamictal, lyrica, klonopin, haldol, benztropine, and seroquel. I have had this happen several times. I wake up in the morning feeling fine then suddenly I see all white like I’m going to pass out and I have to sit down. It’s not low blood sugar. Eating sugar doesn’t help. After a few minutes I’ll try to stand up and it doesn’t help then I sit down again. Sometimes it lasts like 4-5 minutes.

Today it happened and I tried to get up and walk and I couldn’t control my legs and I fell down and hit my mouth on the counter. Luckily no major injury. Swollen lip only and a cut and bruise. Then I had to lie on the floor for several minutes before I could sit up and then stand up. I contemplated calling 911 when I was stuck lying on the floor but didn’t and turned out ok.

Anyone ever have this happen? I know I should tell my dr. I just forget and have never told anyone. It’s very scary.
