I was poking around on a body mass index calculator on the CDC's website. It listed me as Overweight (5'6", 175lbs), but that wasn't a surprise. What surprised me more is that I'm closer to being listed as Obese than I realized (only 10lbs). The problem is that I would have to lose 20 pounds to get back to Normal. I would need to get down under 155, but I've only been under that number for about 18 months (when I was around 24). I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to achieve a consistent 155, especially now that I'm in the 30s. I think it's much more likely for me to get up over 185 and enter obesity sometimes in the next 10 years. Not cool.

Is there anyone out there that has been able to achieve a consistent 15-25lb weight loss? I would be interested in your perspective.
