I agree, some people either don’t understand boundaries or maybe simply don’t

care..

I suppose those who had “good enough” parents would learn about healthy boundaries in childhood

Some of us have had to learn the hard way.

And we don’t need repeated “lessons” when we have already learnt it.

I’m sorry you’ve experienced this too. I agree, that emotional attacks do often feel worse than a physical attack.

I think possibly more therapists are acknowledging this now.. there’s so much “proof” from “what little I know” ...

But imo those who do not live outside the USA have little idea of how sub optimal some doctors can be.

Things and people are not the same everywhere.
