I've been having a hard time the last couple of weeks and my wonderful T has taken many calls from me (messages) and has twice called me even though I didn't ask her to, which is our arrangement... that she will call back IF I ask. The other arrangment (hers! lol) is that phone calls where we talk to one another (not the messages) will be brief.

I so appreciate her calls and it occurred to me tonight after talking with her for the few minutes, is that not only is it grounding to talk to her, reassuring, comforting, calming, but as a hearing impaired person I get to hear her voice much more distinctly since my phone has good volume control.... So I get to hear her 'up close' and I can hear more distinctly the reassuring and intimiate qualities to her voice I don't normally get to hear.

Just something I realized and appreciate.

I wish I could hear them as well in person.
