—-yes I think the ignorance came from a former time when scientists didn’t know this is physical. Now we do know that but it is complicated to control. So people don’t know how to react to it and that makes people fearful. There are so many variations of MI also. Kudos to you for creating discussion about stigma and for belonging to NAMI which fights stigma. Thanks to the celebs who have come out to fight stigma and educate people. NAMI also has family groups that help educate families.
