For every situation you win control over, your life will be bigger and less stressful. Talk therapy even if it is CBT is just bs, and does not help OCD. Therapists rather do CBT because then they can sit on their backs, their favorite pastime.

I agree 100%. OP I have an OCD personality (perfectionist). I have experienced severe social anxiety and the only thing that assisted in the long term was continual exposure. Social situations can still be daunting, but I function through them and don't 'run away' so to speak.

My experience with psychosomatic symptoms has only been within the spectrum of not liking to touch certain materials nor wear them, hating certain textures. I have body dysmophic disorder secondary to anorexia. All of these are intertwined. I'm afraid of becoming sick, avoid germs and I become sick with colds, flus and pain very easily, so to some extent, I do relate and you are most certainly not alone. Like other members have mentioned, you would benefit from a good psychiatrist, psychologist or therapist/counsellor who knows your concerns inside out and has worked with people like yourself, to good outcomes
