You didn’t do anything intentionally wrong and you were genuinely sorry for the inconvenience. It was a misunderstanding and their use of the word arrogant was not appropriate for the situation. I think there is generally a lot of bad behavior these days. When you care about manners, the rude behavior will bother you even more. But in the end you can always feel good about your own positive behavior regardless of how others behave.
