Do you still believe that in your heart? Because I do need to know that you care, and one way I know is by you TELLING me.
Is it wrong or bad to "need / want" to HEAR that you care? How does that make anyone dependent?? I'm sure you don't feel this reservation with the real people in your life who aren't your patients... Why's it different for patients?

I agree with you. One way to know is by being told that someone cares. Being affirmed. Being validated. I know that there is the old saying that actions speak louder than words, but words still speak. Hugs if you want them.
