Argh, great! So now I guess I get to consult both doctors. The gastro-doc is super busy being he is so highly rated & he is the go-to doc the surgeons at the nearby hospital consult for stomach/digestive problems. He did say there were other things to try in place of Protonix though he felt that one was best for me for the time being. I'll have to call and leave a message Monday, but his medical assistant sucks. I never get call-backs from her, so I've just started leaving my messages for him at the appointments desk. Strangely, those questions always get answered.
