Yeah. Though... That might be changing the case from how it was described (where things were stipulated to be perfect).

Perhaps the objection is that the case is psychologically implausible? I have much sympathy for that objection.

All we need to dispense with that objection is a brain zapper that annihilates the memory for having been told the truth, however. The decision to take the little pink pill and never again remember the omelas...

If dissociation worked 100%...
