I dunno, one time during the first year I saw my t, I was sitting on the couch not really feeling like talking so she suggested I go into the sand, and I said something like "I dunno, the way I'm feeling right now, I'd need to dump it out on the floor and start completely from scratch." She didn't miss a beat, said something like "I think I could find a couple of big plastic bags to lay on the floor if you want to do that." (I didn't do it, of course, but I remember it feeling really good at the time that she would have let me.)


I hadn't thought about that in a long time, thanks for reminding me! She and I have had our ups and downs and ruptures and stuff, but overall she's been such a great t for me.
