What a fantastic question altonwood! I cannot believe i have never truly thought about this question as it may be central to who we believe God to be.
I guess in a way this is one of my searching questions - what is the truth? I feel a lot of people pick and mix (please do not think this is aimed at anyone on here ) but i guess being a black and white thinker i want a definitive answer. But maybe my 'answer' will change as i change? This is one thing that scares me, prehaps what i think now to be the 'truth' is actually only due to it matching what i need at the moment, nothing more. I am unstable - does that make God unstable??
