I get this, too. Instead of having panic attacks, I have "depression attacks" where I experience intense depressive emotions for a short while. They normally happen when I'm having a particularly stressful day or am socially exhausted. The way I handle them is just to ride them out and remind myself during the attack that it's going to be over soon and that I'll be okay. I'm so sorry this happens to you. It's so awful!
