I view it as a rest day because by me many businesses are legally required to be closed on Sundays. Grocery stores and gas stations are open but it's a not a day where I can shop for clothes or fun stuff so I generally just hang out. If it weren't for these local laws likely I wouldn't view Sunday any differently from Saturday.
