My T I worked with in DBT for over 2 years was working wuth me to understand NORMAL anxiety to things verses anxiety I created about something....very enlightening

Since anxieties like this could be considered
amplified levels of what would otherwise be a normal anxious response to a potential threat - how did DBT allow/train you to perceive such an anxiety at a more tolerable level? I've never had any DBT, so I'm genuinely curious about your experience.
