That's tough to answer since my favorites change. I love to cook and I'm pretty good at it. The most involved dish I've really made was a delicious pork chop dish first brined in cider and spices, then pan fried with an intensely delicious sauce and served with homemade apple fritters. The recipe (originally a NY Times recipe) can be found at
Pan-Roasted Pork Chops with Apple Fritters | Novice Cook Jeff | Copy Me That. It takes at least two days to make and is divine. As for recipes I created myself, I make great soups (Celery, Cream of Tomato, French Onion, mushroom, chicken vegetable, etc.) and Beef Stroganoff. My husband loves a pasta dish I created with chicken Italian sausage, sun-dried tomatoes, pine nuts, fresh basil, and Parmesan cheese. I love to bake, too. I have a wonderful carrot cake recipe and my creme brulee is outstanding. I cook daily when I'm not depressed. Sometimes when I'm hypomanic/manic I cook/bake various things in the middle of the night. I can cook/bake anything. I like variety. The following sweet bread is in the oven as I type this:
