That's been my experience, also - anxiety, especially extended periods, can leave my system much more prone to whatever maladies may be doing the rounds, but also to flaring up earlier injuries/ailments.

GERD could be triggering both the taste & the sinus issues - and all 3 could be triggered/more likely to be felt when anxiety is present.

The double whammy effect is particularly unhelpful, but I try to deal with the original anxiety as early/much as possible, since it's likely driving the other symptoms.
