8,513 steps. I ran about 4.4 miles. The last mile I was dragging. If I have my calculations correct, which may be a little short, I burned 2,741 calories. I ate 2,713 calories. So I am short 28 calories. Good enough.
On my best mile, I was going fourteen minutes and five seconds a mile, which is a new record by ten seconds. My next goal is 13:45 minutes. My heart rate averaged 158 bpm. It went as high as 171 bpm which is not good for a person of my age and health. My normal mile is about 15 minutes a mile with heart rate between 145 and 155 bpm with a max of 162. So I outdid myself. However, in the two miles back, I was comparatively slow due to me being tired. Hopefully this will improve. Part of the reason is I have not run in several days. Just this amount of time can make a difference in my ability to perform.
