I am! Mother born here, both parents in air force, WWII - mother met father - father Brooklyn born and bred. They married, raised my sisters in Brooklyn - eventually came out here to the Left Coast - me, a mid-life baby. And here Iyam (Popeye? What are you doing here?)
I am so GD PROUD to be a California native.
I love the State, too. I am ever amazed by the residents — the bad with the good. Can’t imagine not living on one coast or the other.
Nor can I.
Driving through that Giant Sequoia was one of the highlights of my life.
Every Californian's!
El Cap.
Going into Tijuana on weekends. Ha, yes - no place like Tijunana, is there? Not quite.
I watched as San Diego residents looked to see the smoke.
Be safe. Be happy. It’s a shame and a tragedy (not the fires) but — sometimes — we laugh. We giggle. We’re tickled on our ribs and we double-over in the joy of human touch.
