So that leaves one month and two weeks at between 171 and 173, with 172 being frequent. I have been at 172 for a week and a half now. I have been using my new adjustments for a week. I will wait one more week to see if my weight is stable.
@UpDownAround: I there is a three pound increase from 172 to 175 for just three days, should I count this as meaning something? Is this unusual but realistic wiggle? What do you think?

A true 3 pound gain would mean you ate ~10,500 more calories than you burned. Possible but unlikely. What isn't possible is losing 3 pounds of fat in a day. So it was a spike up that was slow to resolve. Retained water and/or more food in the gut than usual.
