I just want to add that you do not have an obligation to include anybody in your friends lists. It is perfectly okay of you to be selective in who you include. Might I suggest that you consider a criteria for which you weigh the option to include a person? Perhaps it might revolve around your definition of boundaries; like, your definition of the difference between a peer, an acquaintance, and a friend.
