I have been diagnosed with bpd for over 11 years. I have read dozens of books on bpd. I liked this book when i first diagnosed. I always wondered if therewere any people like me out there. When I was in the state hospital in NC I had one group that was just borderlines and it was the first time there were people I could relate to. When you get diagnosed it is nice to read about others' experiences in struggling with bpd. Over the last 2 or 3 yrs I have researched every aspect of bpd. I ran across the book, Borderline Personality Disorder Demystified, by Robert O. Friedel, MD. I found out a lot concerning bpd that my therapist didn't know and my psychiatrist never told me. It goes into every aspect of bpd you could think of. I hope this helps. I'll keep an eye out for others I have read.
