It's seems really hard to understand peoples choices at times. addictions are choices we make because they WORK for us better than anything else we know of...simply put, we get "paid'...and since yesterday we did'nt have a clue as to how we'd make it thru today the shallowness of our choices today does'nt seem odd. One thing about human nature, we seldom change until we becomes convinced that it's the easier thing to do and that our "pay-check" will continue because we avoid the "gaping hole with wind whistleing thru it" at ALL COSTS!!! maybe you know what I'm talking about, maybe not...my addiction to drugs was cured when I saw my life journey as me crawling down a glass/trash strewn alley just trying to be loved, and I believed all of the people who told me I was a bad person because i used drugs and that I was "trash"...it made me quite angry that they would all jump on this poor boy and beat him up...anyhow, I never went back, sorry for rambling on!
