I used to have a really hard time taking showers. I would go more than a week without doing it and would only get in and clean off if I was forced too by my family. Now it's become part of my daily routine. I find that I feel better both mentally and physically if I shower and I feel more able to present myself. However, brushing my teeth is still a struggle. It's the same thing, I'll go a long time without doing it and only do it if I'm forced too. I'm trying to get better at it but it's hard. Just like showering used too, it feels like a chore or a job and I don't do well with those.
