I'm kinda with you Brian. I remember the time when it was considered normal to not be reachable 24/7. Whatever happened to planning in advance.

But I finally broke down and bought a cell phone last month, years after all of my friends have been bugging me to get one, because I have an older car and want to be able to call CAA if it breaks down when I'm driving. Also I'm job hunting so being able to take and return calls while I'm out is an advantage. That and it feels like all the payphones have pretty much dissappeared off the streets.

But I just wanted the most basic phone possible, nope the most basic phone I could get came with blue tooth, and a camera, and as I'm a bit of a technophobe a really thik users manual that I can barely decipher.

Learning how to use the phone's features is one of my projects for the weekend.
