I have the exact same thing with perfume. I have a certain scent that reminds me of our sessions and therefore of him.

Sometimes, a mildly musky old book sort of smell takes me straight to the room where we conduct our sessions.

I began to take photos every day I have a session. These are usually photos of the scenery around the area or very specific things that I associate with my T. I have a photo of the intercom and the door and the street and the bridge before it. If anyone were to stumble across these photos on my phone they'd be seriously confused haha, but to me, they are like treasures. Yes, he's real. Yes, in his own way he's mine. Yes, he'll always be with me. All these things are like little talismans of the connection we have. They help me feel closer to him. I think I have fashioned my own transitional objects that he has no idea of.
