Christina is right on point here. First off, an ethical provider will not diagnose you without a thorough patient history. They may even send you to medical tests if they suspect something else. Then they need time to talk to you over several visits to be sure of their diagnosis. Furthermore, it may not be that straightforward to tease out a specific diagnosis. If this was the case, all you would need to do is have the pdoc give you a test to determine what you have. Actually then anyone can be trained to do this. You would still need to go through a process of determining the right combo of meds that would help you. This is not like popping aspirin for a headache, or antibiotics for an undiagnosed UTI.
Has your BP been formally diagnosed? Is this a self-assessment? Who has determined the specific meds that will help alleviate your symptoms? You have? Based on what? Anyone that is medically licensed will not just give you meds. This is even true with those licensed in psychiatry without a proper workup and diagnosis by the right professional. This would be highly unethical and they would be placing their license at great risk. I think you can understand why this would be the case. Why would you permit them risk their license? This is something to consider.
I understand that you are in desperation, that you are suffering. There will be no easy solution even when it would seem that it should be a very straightforward and simple solution to you, In other words, there will be no quick fix to your problems. When it comes to MI, there never is.
