Having witnessed a few too many rounds of defriending drama in the prototypical social media days of Live journal, I traditionally didn't initiate friending on PC, but I will do so now. That said, 99% of my official PC friends are from incoming requests - the forum interactions matter more to me.

Still nice to be friended, though...
