It seems that your system across The Pond appears to be broken. Could it be their case load? Is it just their attitude? Lack of resources? I just do not understand how the system you have to deal with every day works the way it does.

From what I see you are saying, do you mean that there is apparently no personal attention to their patients care? No commitment to the quality of their patients future wellbeing? I guess it starts with a health provider willing to spend the time to listen to their patient. I am sorry to see you are in a very frustrating situation indeed!
It actually wasn’t your post that you edited that bothered me at all to be honest.

I’m sorry you felt you had to edit it, I didn’t have time to read it fully

When I speak my truth about the desperate and ridiculous situation in the uk., my opinion (and that of many others) I prefer it if a more knowledgeable (?) someone doesn’t try to correct me. At least I felt that I was being “corrected”. I’m not here to make “enemies” and I really hope nobody misreads my post.

I understand that the situation in the USA is also desperate for some. And I’m sorry ... it sucks

I made a post a while ago saying I found doctors very hard to talk to. Someone replied saying that in the hour they are given .. well to me, if I was ever given an hour to talk or even half an hour with a listening doctor, they would be giving me a chance to begin to explain my situation.

I do not find it’s possible to do this in 10 minutes or less, especially if the doctor does not want to try to listen in that very limited time available. Some do try to listen. I haven’t found many though and most move away.

I have found that the majority of people are given palliative care, at best. And their labelling tends to be very quick and not always even somewhat accurate. JMO.
