Hey, thanks for the gabapentin tip! DS did take oxcarbazepine for a while, which didn't do anything but impair his cognitive functions ( "makes me stupid and drool" ), I know these compounds are so idiosyncratic with respects to individual responses to them that even a slight change in part of the molecule could make all the difference.

Definitely mention it to the doc! Always hopeful.

Hope you find some stability and peace for yourself, as well. I know how hatefully debilitating it is.

I personally think Neurontin/gabapentin is a safer choice than Seroquel or Tegretol. Maybe look into it? It also comes in a liquid form, which allows for a low-dose option.
