No, I never made reel-to-reel mix tapes for girls or women that I fancied but I have produced 8-track and cassette tapes that won — and lost — the hearts of others.

So, yes, I’ve use mix tapes — the Rare Art of Music Mastered by an Unprofessional DJ to flirt with girls, to be my continuing muse, and to lament breakups; all manner of hearts soaring and heartbreak.
