They say that you will know the truth,
and this truth will set you free.

That theory may be true,
but a part of me strongly disagrees.

It’s been here ya know,
the truth, in a silent haze.

Waiting in many pieces as I worked my way toward it, through this maze.

The truth, out of focus and so disconnected,
feels so far away and not really me.

I don’t know how to find it,
or what the end result will be.
