Christina is probably right, Your t may think it's in your best interest to refer you elsewhere, she may not be experienced enough or have the appropriate training to help someone with si. at least she's being honest with you. You may find the referal a really positive thing.

It does hurt when you get something like that but hang on in there, someone better may be just around the corner
