I honestly don't have any type of a study in mind, my doctors do.
I have told them I am not interested in a sleep study. I already know I have sleep apnea; I don't want a cpap machine. I also have something more than sleep apnea; I cannot fall asleep or stay asleep.
For now, we are all in agreement that there has to be a significant improvement in sleep before any study can occur and will be worthwhile.
That said, someone had mentioned that my insurer requires home sleep studies first, maybe followed by a lab study, if indicated. I will look into it when I start sleeping; until then, it's a moot point.
