I honestly don't know how well I would survive without a microwave. My cooking skills are extremely limted...scrambled eggs and noodles that is all I am able to cook without destroying cooking ware or setting off smoke detectors..so to live without a microwave would mean starvation..or me being broke all the time. My parents do most of the cooking but since during the summer I'm off schedule from them..I work nights and they work and go to school during the day I depend on thay microwave!!
I don't know how you warm kids up in a microwave but that sounds interesting!! LOL
