My husband and I went to Portugal for the second time this past May to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We spent our time in Lisbon north to Porto, while the first time we traveled south from Lisbon to the Algarve. The first time in Portugal years ago was the best vacation I had ever had, feeling great. Unfortunately, this more recent one I became ill with mania. It was full blown with psychosis by the time we were in the airports on the way home. My husband didn't think they would let me on the airplane in London during that stopover. He cried when we got on the plane. I feel so sad the trip was so far from being wonderful. I often become elevated in mood during vacations.
