I think the protocol with anti-psychotics is for your doctor to monitor you closely starting with a small dose to see if you get any TD. As long as it's caught right away it's not permanent. That's my understanding, anyways. I'm on Seroquel and Risperdal without any TD but i have had significant weight gain which i am working on but it's very much a work-in-progress. Good luck and if you keep a careful eye out for TD i think you will be fine.
