5102 steps. I have walked and ran only 2.25 miles burning 217 calories. For some reason, I was not up to running today. So this makes for a target of 2717 calories. I have consumed 2776 calories. This works for me. Today, my weight was 170 pounds this morning which is low.
Now am I overstating the calories consumed, or understating the calories burned? The callories per mile ends up being 96 callories. I think this is close enough considering one quarter of the time is spent running. Just walking at about 4 mph for a milr gives me 82 calories burned per mile. Does this last figure of 82 calories per mile sense?
