I don’t watch new cartoons but I still watch the cartoons and children’s shows that I grew up with (cartoons and live action), especially Mister Rogers and old Sesame Street episodes. It reminds me of a time when I truly believed that the world could be a wonderful place.

We — especially in America — desperately need Fred Rogers.

But I have kids, so perhaps my answer doesn’t count.
